When it comes to accessing internet, it’s always more comfortable to have a wireless connection, be it 3G/4G or our closest WiFi. But what happens when, you don’t have WiFi hardware around you to keep you online all the time?? :O
Luckily though, there are some really good software which can host WiFi networks from your usual Laptop WiFi adapter. So if you do not have a WiFi Router in your hostel block or group work rooms, here’s to your rescue –
Here’s a 3-Step guide to which let’s you go online wirelessly in SPJIMR campus.
1. Find a nice guy/gal who is connected to the internet and request them to switch ON their laptop’s Connectify WiFi network.
2. Get the network’s password from them
OR from the college’s hosted network unofficial database
(you’ll need to have the spreadsheet downloaded beforehand. Download it now!)
3. Connect to the Connectify Network and browse internet wirelessly. (Thank the nice guy/gal for sure!)
To make this initiative a success, you can also share the details of your shared WiFi network here.
